Honda factory for Ha Nam province

Ha Nam (VNA) - The People's Committee of Ha Nam province granted an
investment licence to Japan's Honda Lock Vietnam Co. Ltd on Nov. 25, raising
the total number of Japanese businesses investing in the province to six.

Accordingly, Honda Lock will invest 17.3 million USD in building a 4 ha
factory at the Dong Van II Industrial Park to produce lock and key parts for
the automobile and motorcycle industries.

Work on the factory is scheduled to commence this December and is expected
to be completed within a year. Once operational, the factory could generate
36 million USD in annual revenue and create more jobs for local workers.

Besides the planned factory in Ha Nam province, Honda Lock has invested in
the construction of eleven factories in a number of countries worldwide,
including the US, Thailand and China.-Enditem
