MILITARY WORLD BOXING CHAMPIONSHIP STARTS IN BAKU
Baku, 24 November,(AzerTAj)The 52nd Military World Boxing Championship started at
the Heydar Aliyev Sports and Concert Complex in Baku on November 24.
The tournament brought together boxers from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Ukraine, USA,
Barbados, Belarus, Bulgaria, Algeria, France, India, Italy, Latvia, Egypt, the
Netherlands, Uzbekistan, Slovenia, and Sri Lanka.
Azerbaijan is represented by 11 sportsmen.
The first fight took place between Indian Sing Paramjit and Sri Lankaian Jamida
Sennakyn. The Indian boxer won the latter and reached the next round.
