FM receives non-resident Austrian diplomat

SANA'A, Nov. 24 (Saba) - Minister of Foreign Affairs Abu Bakr
al-Qirbi met here on Monday with Austrian non-resident Ambassador to
Sana'a.

Austrian diplomat extended an invitation to al-Qirbi to participate
in the international conference organized by Austrian government in
collaboration with the Arab League aiming to approximation between
Arab and European States.

The meeting also dealt with the latest developments in the regional
arena, particularly the phenomenon of piracy that concerns many
countries.

The minister affirmed that Yemen is really affected by piracy acts
that are taken place most in Arab Sea and Indian Ocean, noting that
the Yemeni coastguards do their duties in the Gulf of Aden to
protect international navigation passages.
