TBILISI HOSTS INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON TOLERANCE
Baku, 22 November,(AzerTAj)Representatives of the Commissioners for Human Rights of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Ombudsman) Vugar Maharramov and Rashad Samadov attended the international workshop in Tbilisi, press-office of the Azerbaijan Ombudsman Office told AzerTAc.
“Promoting tolerance in Georgia through education” was the main
focus of the seminar, attracting human right experts from a range of countries,
including Germany, Sweden, Bulgaria, Israel as well as representatives of Georgian
ethnic minorities, non-governmental organizations and mass media. Attendees have
discussed ethnic tolerance, education and other related issues.
Representatives of Azerbaijan Ombudsman Office gave the detailed information about
tolerance towards the religious and ethnic minorities in Azerbaijan.
