Justice minister assigns dates for electoral appeals
SANA'A, Nov. 21 (Saba)- Minister of Justice Ghazi al-Aghbari informed on Friday heads of courts of first instance and appeal in the different governorates with the dates during which to present appeals regarding insertion and deletion of voter names to be looked at.
In a statement to Saba, the minister made clear that the period 22-26 December is
set for presenting any appeals against decision of the basic committees which review
and amend voters registry.
He noted that court study for those appeals will commence starting from 23 December
to 10 January, 2009 and verdicts will be announced during 11-15 January, 2009.
