FOUR FOREIGN ENVOYS TO ATTEND LAKE KERINCI FESTIVAL
Jambi, Nov. 22 (ANTARA) - The ambassadors of four foreign countries -- Germany, Brunei Darussalam, Saudi Arabia and Turkey -- are scheduled to attend the opening of a Lake Kerinci Festival in Kerinci, around 410 km from Jambi city, Jambi province, on Sunday.
Also to be present at the event are 30 officials of the Malaysia government and the director general of marketing affairs at Indonesia's culture and tourism ministry, Hasferi Akmal, a spokesman of the Kerinci district administration, said here on Saturday.
Kerinci District is rich in traditions, natural resources and assets such as lakes, mountains, hot springs, valleys, and waterfalls.
To run from November 23 to 29, the festival will be officially opened by Jambi Governor Zulkifli Nurdin.
