Hanoi (VNA) - The first batch of 250 40' HC containers produced by the
Vinashin-TGC Container Joint Stock Company (VTC) will be shipped to the
United Arab Emirates.
To this effect, an memorandum of understanding was signed between
representatives of VTC and the United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) on Nov.
20.
The export of the first made-in-Vietnam containers is considered a great
landmark in the history of the national mechanical engineering industry.
It opens a new opportunity for the Vietnamese container production industry
