Saudi Arabia donates $1 million to UN Demining Program in Lebanon
Beirut, November 20, SPA -- Under the directives of the Custodian of
the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Kingdom
of Saudi Arabia donated $1 million to the United Nations Program for
Demining and Removing Cluster Bombs in southern Lebanon.
In a press statement today, the Saudi Embassy in Lebanon said this
brings to $1.5 million the total amount donated by the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia for this purpose.
