UZBEK MINISTER OF FOREIGN ECONOMIC RELATIONS, INVESTMENTS AND TRADE TO VISIT BAKU
Baku, 20 November,(AzerTAj)Uzbek Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade Eler Ganiyev today will pay a visit to Azerbaijan to attend the 7th Ministerial Conference on Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) to be started on November 21.
CAREC is an Asian Development Bank - supported initiative which was established in 1997 to encourage economic cooperation among countries in the Central Asian region.
The program has focused on financing infrastructure projects and improving the region`s policy environment in the priority areas of transport, energy, trade policy and trade facilitation. CAREC includes Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and China.
