Iran draws 1-1 with UAE in World Cup Asian qualifying
Tehran, Nov 20, IRNA Iran's national soccer team draws 1-1 with the United Arab Emirates
(UAE) national team on the 2010 World Cup South Asian qualifying.
The two teams face-off was held at al-Maktoum Stadium in Dubai on Wednesday.
Abdulraheem Jumma in the 20th minute put the UAE ahead, but Karim
Baqeri scored the equalizer in 81th minute of the game.
The refree was from Malaysia.
Iran is to play against South Korea on February 11, 2009 here in Tehran.
