Egyptian President arrives in UAE

Abu Dhabi, Nov 20, 2008 (WAM) - Egyptian President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak arrives in UAE yesterday afternoon in a two-day visit.

Mubarak and the delegation were received here at the Airport by President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Also present at the reception were UAE Deputy Prime Minister HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan and National Security Adviser HH Sheikh Haza bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

President Mubarak greeted at the Union Hall at Mushrif Palace The Federal National Speaker HE Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair, HH Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, representative of ruler in the Eastern Region , HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior, HH Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, chairman of the Abu Dhabi Emiri Flight, HH Ahmed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, board of trustees chairman of the Sheikh Zayed Charitable Foundation, HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Presidential Affairs Minister, HH Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, chief of court of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and chairman of the Higher Corporation For Specialized Economic Zones, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Foreign Minister, other Sheikhs, ministers and high ranking officials.

Sheikh Khalifa greeted the delegation accompanying the Egyptian President: Egyptian First Lady Suzan Mubarak, Jamal Mubarak, Secretary for National Party Policies, Khadija Al Jamal, wife of Jamal Mubarak. He also greeted Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abulgheit, Anas Ahmed Al Faqi, Minister of Information, other ministers, Egyptian Ambassador to UAE Mohammed Saad Ebeid and other high ranking officials.
