Abdulaziz Belkhadem hails Mohammed Bin Zayed's Visit to Algeria
Algiers, Nov 20, 2008 (WAM) - Algerian Minister of State and the Personal Representative of Algerian President, Abdullaziz Belkhadem has hailed the outcome of the visit paid by HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces to Algeria on Tuesday.
In a statement given to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) shortly after the official talks between Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed and Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, Belkhadem said: 'We are happy about this important visit as it brought high results, which added a new spirit to the fraternal relations between UAE and Algeria'.
Belkhadem added that the discussions conducted by the economic delegation accompanying Sheikh Mohammed gave strong impetus to the efforts of the leaders of both countries to bolster the bilateral relations between UAE and Algeria.
Belkhadem lauded UAE's stance of continuous support to Algeria in its issues, adding that the Late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan had a constructive role in the modern history of Algeria.
He also praised UAE's developmental achievements, and said that Algeria will substantially benefit from the experience of UAE in the fields of economic revival and infrastructure.
Belkhadem underscored the importance of cooperation between UAE and Algeria and the need to achieve economic integration between the two countries in the best interests of their people.
