BELGIAN CROWN PRINCE TO VISIT INDONESIA

Jakarta, Nov 19 (ANTARA) - The Belgian crown prince Philippe will visit Indonesia from November 22 to 26 along with an investment and business delegation, foreign ministry spokesman Teuku Faizasyah told ANTARA here on Wednesday.

He said prince Philippe would meet with a number of high-ranking officials including vice president Jusuf Kalla during the visit.

The ministers whom he would meet include transportation minister Jusman Syafi'i Djamal, he added.

"That is what I can confirm. He will also meet other ministers, the Jakarta and West Java governors as well as representatives from the civil society," he said.

According to reports the prince will lead more than 50 businessmen operating in various fields.

"The visit will be significant because it brings along a business delegation. So, it has a wide economic aspect. Certainly we hope after the visit many Belgian businessmen will invest in the country," Faizasyah said.

Besides Jakarta, the Belgian delegation also plans to visit Bandung in West Java
