BPK AUDITS RENOVATION OF PARLIAMENT OFFICES
Jakarta, Nov 19 (ANTARA) - The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) audited the renovation of the Nusantara I building of the House of Representatives (DPR) to prevent the misuse of the budget.
"The audit will be done by the BPK," the House secretary-general Nining Indra Saleh said here on Wednesday.
The House secretary general has distributed forms to all the legislators and House factions to find out how many approve or reject to have their offices renovated, Saleh said.
House Speaker Agung Laksono said the remainder of the money will be returned to the state's coffers.
The budget for the project reached 26.683 million rupiahs.
