FIVE COUNTRIES PARTICIPATE IN BALIKPAPAN INDUSTRIAL EXPO
Balikpapan, Indonesia, Nov. 20 (ANTARA) - Five countries, namely Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Canada and Australia, are participating in the Balikpapan Industrial Expo (BIEX) 2008.
Balikpapan Mayor Imdad Hamid officially opened the Expo at Balikpapan's Sports and Convention Center here on Wednesday.
The expo being held from November 19 to 21, 2008, displays mainly equipment related to mining activities.
Mayor Imdad Hamid in his opening address invited domestic and foreign businessmen to invest in Balikpapan, which is rich of mining resources such as oil.
