Yemeni-Gulf technical team to start 4th Yemen development plan
RIYADH, Nov. 19 (Saba)- Technical team of the Joint Yemeni-Gulf Committee approved on Wednesday in Riyadh to start the 4th five-year development plan of Yemen 2011-2015.
Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mutahar al-Abbasi told
Saba that "the meeting which was attended by development partners and WB
representatives emphasized to prepare characteristic studies in a number of fields
with the aim of pushing development growth ahead and attracting investment to Yemen,
in addition to preparing studies on integration of Yemen's economy into GCC's
economies."
He noted that the meeting approved conducting studies on labor market in Yemen and
GCC member states and possibilities to reinforce capacities of Yemeni human
resources to benefit from the available chances in the Gulf market.
