Al-Qirbi hails UN support for development in Yemen
SANA'A, Nov. 19 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi lauded on Wednesday the role's of the United Nations' programs in supporting development in the country.
Al-Qirbi held talks with Director of the United Nations Secretary General Assistant,
the Regional Bureau for Arab States United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Amat
Al-Alim Alsoswa on the organization's assistance to the rainstorm-stricken
governorates of Hadramout and Mahrah.
Alsoswa asserted the UN's keenness on enhancing cooperation with Yemen, voicing
appreciation of the government's cooperation in supporting the UN bodies working in
Yemen.
