AZERBAIJAN FM MEETS HEAD OF GREEK OSCE CHAIRMANSHIP TASK FORCE

Baku, 18 November,(AzerTAj)Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov met with
Head of the Greek OSCE Chairmanship Task Force, Ambassador Nikolaos Kalantzianos,
press service of the Ministry told AzerTAc.

Kalantzianos said the visit aims to prepare for Greek Foreign Minister Dora
Bakoyannis` South Caucasus trip early next year.
He stressed during its OSCE chairmanship Greece will pay special attention to the
South Caucasus region.
Kalantzianos emphasized that the principle of territorial integrity of OSCE member
states will be taken as a basis and will never be a matter of discussion.
Elmar Mammadyarov said his country welcomes every effort towards peaceful resolution
of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within international legal norms, stressing the
importance of global community`s equal approach to the conflicts existing in the
region.
The Greek official pointed out the importance of sustainable peace in the region for
energy security of Europe.
In this connection, Minister Mammadyarov informed Kalantzianos on the results of the
Energy Summit recently held in Baku.
