VOLUME OF INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION OF AZERBAIJAN MAKES AZN 24.5 BLN WITHIN 10 MONTHS OF THIS YEAR

Baku, 18 November,(AzerTAj)According to statistics, in January-October of 2008 Azerbaijan produced industrial goods and provided services in the amount of AZN 24.5 bln, which is 8.4% higher over the past year.

The growth in oil sector was 7.6%, in gas production 54.2%, in chemical industry
43.8%, in skin shoe products 32.2%, metallurgy industry 34.1% and others.
At the same time the growth in the non-oil sector made up 8.1%.
