Amat Al-Alim al-Sosowa arrives in Sana`a

SANA'A, Nov. 17 (Saba) - Assistant Secretary General of the United
Nations, Regional Director for Arab Countries Office of United
Nations Development Program (UNDP) Amat Al-Alim al-Sosowa arrived on
Monday in Sana'a in a several days visit to Yemen.

Al-Sosowa said to Saba that she would hold a number of meetings with
governmental officials to discuss and evaluate performance of
implementing projects and programs supported by UNDP in Yemen and
future cooperation horizons between Yemen and UNDP.

She made clear that she would hold field visits to some regions
affected by floods disaster to get acquaintance with damages volume
due to the disaster, in addition to discussing with concerned
officials about the nature of needs and possibilities of aid to be
provided by UNDP to the victims of those regions.
