Iran, Algeria review expansion of parliamentary relations

Algiers, Nov 17, IRNA Visiting Iranian First Vice President Parviz Davoudi conferred here on
Sunday with Algerian Parliament Speaker Abdelaziz Ziari on expansion
of parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

At the meeting, Davoudi voiced Tehran's readiness to share its
experience in the field.

The two officials expressed their determination to broaden and bolster
ties between the two countries by taking advantage of the full
capabilities of both parties.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has attained remarkable progress and
success in various scientific fields and is ready to share them all
with Algeria, he said.

Iran and Algeria shoulder a very special responsibility in dealing
with regional developments as well as those pertaining to world
Muslims, he said adding that the two countries should cooperate to
prevent carnage of oppressed Palestinian nation.

The Algerian parliament speaker, for his part, referred to Iran's
advancement in various fields and said Algeria calls for benefiting
from Iran's valuable experiences in different sectors.

Given to effective role of Iran and Algeria in issues relating to
world Muslim, he said the two countries have very suitable cooperation
in defending the rights of oppressed Palestinian nation.

Parviz Davoudi and his entourage arrived in Algiers on Saturday
afternoon to confer with the country's officials on expansion of
mutual relations as well as regional developments.
