Turkey mulls joint investment in South Pars

Tehran, Nov 17, IRNA Visiting Turkish Energy Minister Hilmi Guller said on Sunday that
Turkey is contemplating joint investment with Iran in South Pars gas
field.

Speaking while inspecting South Pars facilities in Pars Energy Special
Economic Zone, Guller told reporters, "We intend to set up such
facilities as South Pars in Turkey's Ceyhan and my visit to Pars
Energy Special Economic Zone is of significance from this standpoint."
He said that South Pars installations and the volume of investment
made in the region are very good.

Elsewhere in his comment, Guller said, "Iran and Turkey have long
record of friendship and cooperation in the energy sector will help
bolster mutual ties and cooperation."
