Stability in Iraq, region intertwined

Baghdad, Nov 17, IRNA Iran's Ambassador to Baghdad Hassan Kazemi Qomi said here Sunday that
regional stability will not be possible without stability and security
in Iraq.

He told a group of Iranian and Iraqi industry and trade officials at
the inaugural ceremony of Iran's trade fair in Baghdad that all
regional states have the duty to help restore stability and security
in Iraq.

He said contribution to Iraqi reconstruction is pivot of Iran's policy
and Iranian government and nation will stand by the Iraqi government
and people.

Qomi added that it is a big honor for Iran to support Iraqi government
and nation in the country's new political process.

He said that reconstruction era has begun in Iraq.

"Regional states, Iraq neighbors in particular, should actively
contribute to the country's reconstruction process," he added.
