Saudi ambassador to Argentina speaks on relations

Buenos Aires, November 15, SPA--Saudi Ambassador to Argentina and
non-resident ambassador to Uruguay and Chile Issam bin Ahmed
Althagafi described the development of relations between the Kingdom
of Saudi Arabia and Argentina as great in all areas and at all
levels, noting in this regard the coming visit of a delegation from
the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kingdom to Argentina to explore
prospects of agricultural investment and to sign agreements.

During a meeting with Saudi media delegation currently on
a visit to Buenos Aires he described relations between the Kingdom
and Argentina as old, pointing to the visits between officials in
both countries and the most important one was the visit paid by the
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al
Saud, when he was a crown prince, during which he opened King Fahd
Islamic Cultural Center in Argentina.
He indicated that the two countries have signed a number of
agreements in sport, cultural and political fields.
