Iran calls for US policy change

Tehran, Nov 15, IRNA - Government spokesman, Gholam Hossein Elham said on Saturday the US needs policy change towards Iran.


"The next US administration should take the issue of changing its
approach towards Iran seriously," Elham told reporters at his weekly
press conference.

Commenting on Iran-US talks, the spokesman said, "Holding of the talks
is not the main issue, what is important is the change of US policy
towards Iran."
"If there is a change, then, there will be new prospects" for the two
capitals, Elham stressed.

He added that the world is exhausted from US hegemonic and unilateral
approach as that would not secure the interest of American nation and
that of the international community as well.
