Mottaki discusses issues of mutual interest with S. Korean PM

Tehran, Nov 15, IRNA

Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, who is paying a visit to South
Korea, in a meeting with S. Korean Prime Minister Han Seung-Soo in
Seoul discussed with him issues of mutual interest.

According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department on
Friday, Mottaki, by explaining situation in the region said, "Iran and
South Korea should expand joint cooperation in supporting each others'
stances on international issues.

Referring to the bilateral ties level, Mottaki said, "In this
direction we have to try to increase the speed of promoting the
relations."
Prime Minister Seung-Soo, for his part, expressed his country's
interest to expand ties with Iran.

Expressing pleasure with bilateral wide cultural relations, the prime
minister said, "Bilateral ties should be expanded in all fields."
He described political and economic ties "good" and underlined
expansion of parliamentary activities and cultural cooperation.
