Germany grants € 200,000 to Yemen to deal with flood disaster
SANA'A, Nov. 14 (Saba)-German foreign minister allocated €200, 000
as urgent humanitarian aide to Yemen to deal with flood disaster,
the ministry said.
The minister added that it would support International committee of
the Red Cross and red crescent society in Yemen with € 500,000 to
offer shelters for homeless people due to flood.
A survey conducted by the World Bank (WB) has estimated that the
initial costs of the damages in governorates of Hadramout and Mahrah
reach nearly $ 1 billion.
The survey reported that the damages were in several sectors,
particularly in roads, health, water and agriculture.
