WORLD INTERESTED IN HAVING NEW ENERGY TRANSPORTATION CORRIDORS
Baku, 14 November,(AzerTAj)The world is interested in establishment of new energy transportation corridors, President of Poland Lech Kaczynski stated at the Baku Summit started on 14 November.
“As other participants of the Summit, Poland, too, supports the Nabucco and
Odessa-Brody-Gdansk projects. The 38-million tons of oil supposedly to be
transported through Odessa-Brody-Gdansk pipeline can be reached to 50 million tons
per year,” he underlined. Technical-economic feasibility enables to resolve any
possible problem, he added.
Reminding existence of rich energy resources in Azerbaijan, the Polish President
said the delivery of these resources to the Black Sea region would make huge
contribution to energy security of Europe.
