Shiite leader lauds Saudi move

Beirut, November 13, SPA -- Lebanese Shiite Spiritual leader Ali
Al-Ameen said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was always precedent
in the work for promotion of international peace and confrontation of
violence and terrorism.

In a statement, he said the Kingdom, led by the Custodian of the Two
Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, was precedent to
this move, direly needed by the world today, noting that many
conferences on dialogue among followers of religions were held in the
past but, this time, convening the meeting under the supervision of
the United Nations gives it a strong boost.
