Korean Air, Asiana Airlines to fly Gimpo-Osaka route

SEOUL, Nov. 13 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's top two carriers will offer charter
flights between Gimpo and Osaka next month to meet growing demand, government
officials said Thursday.

Korean Air Lines Co., South Korea's biggest carrier, and No. 2 player Asiana
Airlines Inc. will offer seven round-trip flights a week on the route, the
Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs said.
However, the two carriers will not reduce their flights between Incheon and
Osaka, the ministry said. Korean Air and Asiana Airlines operate a combined 46
weekly flights on the route.
