Yemen to host Arab Fish Investment Conference

SANA'A, Nov. 12 (Saba)-Yemen is to host the Arab Fish Investment
Conference which would be organized in collaboration with the Arab
Union for Fish Producers and the Arab Authority for Agricultural
Investment and Development (AAAID) on 24 October.


Secretary General of the Arab Union for Fish Producers Mahmoud
Radhi Hassan said that he will held talks with Yemeni officials to
finalize preparations and arrangements for the meeting.

The conference will focus on issues related to development of the
fish sectors in the Arab World as well as reviewing investments
opportunities in this field which is considered the motor of
sustainable development.

Moreover, it will highlight the role of the fish sector in the
Arab food security, particularly under the current food crisis and
soaring food prices, Radhi added.
