Yemen, Denmark sign agreement to support refugees in Lahj

LAHJ, Nov. 12 (Saba) - Yemen and Denmark signed here on Wednesday a
cooperation agreement to support refugees in the governorate of Lahj.

Under the agreement, the Danish Refugee Council will provide the
government, represented by the governorate of Lahj, with human aid
and will set up programs for training the refugees.

The agreement aims to improve the refugees' living conditions in
addition to provide assistance in fields of natural disasters,
particularly the landslides.

After signing the agreement, Lahj Governor Muhsen al-Naqib voiced
the governorate's readiness to offer all facilities to ease the
implementing the tasks of the Danish Refugee Council.
