Yemen, Tunisia discuss renewing documenting executive program
TUNIS, Nov. 12 (Saba) - Yemen and Tunisia discussed here on
Wednesday possibility of renewing executive program for 2009 - 2010,
which includes advancing relations between two countries in fields
of archiving and documenting.
Deputy of the National Center for Documents Ali Tawaf held talks
with the General Director for Tunisian Archive Ms. Salwa al-Ayashi
on means of enhancing bilateral relations.
Tawaf declared in a statement to Saba that the visit aimed to get
acquainted with the Tunisian experience in the electronic archiving
and documenting, information system and link the databases of the
Tunisian national archive with the ministries' archives.
Meanwhile, Tawaf reviewed with director of the Supreme Institute for
Documenting at Tunisian Manuba University the possibility of
training the center's cadres and providing scholarship.
It is worth mentioning that this round is an annual event between
the two national centers.
