POLISH EMBASSY IN BAKU MARKS INDEPENDENCE DAY

Baku, 12 November,(AzerTAj)The Polish Embassy in Baku hosted Tuesday a reception to mark the country`s Independence Day. The event was opened by Polish Ambassador Krzysztof Krajewski who said “Our country
is playing a very important role in Europe. Poland is a member of NATO and European Union…”

On Poland-Azerbaijan relations, Krajewski said “Azerbaijan is Poland`s strategic partner. I highly appreciate dynamically developing mutual relations between our countries.”

“Relations between our countries were established in 1992. Poland is one of the first countries to recognize Azerbaijan`s independence.” “We are extremely glad about Azerbaijan`s economic and political successes.” he added.

The Polish envoy also said “Poland supports Azerbaijan`s integration into Europe.”
Krajewski also said President of Poland Lech Kaczynski is going to visit Azerbaijan
soon.
Addressing the event, Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis Valeh Alasgarov
congratulated the Polish people on behalf of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev.
