Al-Manie: SR100 million allocated for medical services in Hajj
Riyadh, November 11, SPA--The Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin
Abdullah Al-Manie announced the allocation of SR100 million for
medical services in Hajj season this year and the mobilization of
more than 10,000 male and female employees of the ministry for
providing medical services for pilgrims.
In a press conference held here today after chairing a meeting of
Hajj health committees of the Ministry of Health, he said that the
ministry introduced a new service in Hajj season this year to inquire
about patients through the ministry's Web site on the Internet or a
toll-free number (8002494444).
The Minister of Health noted the provision of 24 hospitals
with a capacity of 2,939 beds in the holy places and Madinah as well
as 124 health centers.
