AZERBAIJAN FM MAMMADYAROV MEETS US SENATOR CORKER

Baku, 11 November,(AzerTAj)Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met
US Senator Bob Corker who is in Baku as part of his tour of the South Caucasus and
Central Asia.
Senator Corker expressed pleasure at visiting Azerbaijan`s capital, saying his trip
is aimed at exploring prospects for developing US-Azerbaijan relations.
Mammadyarov praised the importance of the visit, saying such trips contribute to
deepening the two countries` relations.
Elmar Mammadyarov and Bob Corker also discussed current state and prospects for
Azerbaijan-US cooperation, in particular in energy sphere, and Nagorno-Karabakh
conflict and regional security.
