IHF World Men's Youth Championship: Qatar with a Victory at the Last Match

Budapest, August 22 (QNA) - Qatar won the last match and finalized the tournament on place 15 a great success for the talents from head coach Silvio Ivandija. It was a match with two completely different half times. In the first 30 minutes Austria dominated, played with speed but without a lot of mistakes and took the lead by 16:12. The second half was different. Qatar played powerful, caught up step by step and made the match exciting again. The Qataris played in a really good shape, surprised the Austrians and won the match by 29:27. The talents from Qatar celebrated not only their victory in this game; they celebrated also their performance at the whole tournament. A tournament which was a big disappointment for Austria: The Europeans could only win the first two matches and missed clearly their main goal, to reach the semi-final. (QNA)
