Qatar Urges International Community to Uphold its Responsibilities towards the Syrian People

Doha, August 21 (QNA) - The State Qatar has called on international community and the U.N. Security Council in the first instance, to uphold their responsibilities towards the Syrian people, end their suffering and stop the criminal acts and genocide committed against them .    The Syrian regime has exceeded all red lines by using the chemical weapons prohibited internationally, an official source at the Foreign Ministry told Qatar News Agency (QNA). The source urged the UN Security Council and the international community to take effective steps to stop such immoral and inhuman abuses against the Syrian people.    It affirmed that the State of Qatar stands beside the brotherly Syrian people in their suffering which requires support and assistance from brothers, friends, the international community and humanitarian organizations to save them from this unjust regime.
