Sudan Hails Qatar Relief Aid to Mitigate Effects of Rains, Floods

Khartoum, August 15 (QNA) - Sudanese Minister of Interior Engineer Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid hailed Qatar for swift relief response to help counter the effects of the heavy rains and floods in Sudan. Hamid told a press conference today that Qatar provided its support before being asked for, considering its move as noble gesture that would further boost the fraternal relations that bind both countries.    The Interior Minister extended his sincere thanks and appreciation for Qatar's Emir, government and people.     The State of Qatar provided urgent relief materials to Sudan by dispatching two cargo planes with about 80 tons relief supplies to help counter the effects of the heavy rains and floods.
