AZERBAIJANI JUSTICE MINISTER MEETS FRENCH AMBASSADOR TO COUNTRY

Baku, 10 November,(AzerTAj)Azerbaijan`s Justice Minister, Fikrat Mammadov has met with French Ambassador to the country Gabriel Keller.
Fikrat Mammadov praised expanding relations between the two countries including those in the legal sphere.

He briefed the Ambassador on ongoing democratic reforms in the country.
The Minister said the agreement signed between Justice Ministries of Azerbaijan and
France had created real opportunities for bilateral cooperation. He also underscored
the effectiveness of joint events carried out with French counterparts.
Gabriel Keller, in his turn, thanked the Azerbaijani Minister for the meeting. He
stressed he would make efforts to deepen legal relations between the two countries.

The Ambassador was curious about legal reforms carried out in the country.
The sides also exchanged views on joint projects, prospects for mutual activities,
as well as cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union, Council of Europe,
OSCE, European Court of Human Rights.
Afterwards, the Ambassador familiarized himself with the Museum of Azerbaijani
Justice History.
