Qatari Assistance to Flood-Stricken People in Sudan

Doha, August 12 (QNA) -HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, has instructed the dispatching of urgent relief materials to the sisterly Republic of Sudan, on board of two cargo planes, an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said here on Monday . The 80-ton load aid is an expression of Qatar's stand alongwith the Republic of Sudan and its people to counter the effects of the heavy rains and floods that swept some its areas recently, said the official source.(QNA)
