Qatar Under-23 Football Squad off to Bahrain

Doha, August 12 (QNA) - Qatar youth football team today travels to Manama to participate in the GCC Under-23 Football Championship which starts August 15, the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) said. Qatar figures in Group (B) alongside Saudi Arabia and Oman while Group (A) includes United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and hosts Bahrain. Qatar's Under-23 football team has a busy season ahead with major tournaments on the agenda. The youth team will compete in the Asian Games (2014) to be held in Korea from September 19 to October 4 as well as the Asian qualifications round for the Olympic Games to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from August 5 to 21 in 2016.
