CHAIRMAN OF CLERICAL OFFICE OF CAUCASIAN MUSLIMS TO ATTEND MOSCOW MEETING OF HEADS OF RELIGIOUS CONFESSIONS

Baku, 10 November,(AzerTAj)Chairman of the Clerical Office of Caucasian Muslims Allahshukur Pashazade and Baku and littoral Caspian bishop of Russian Orthodox Church, father Alexander will be leaving tomorrow in Moscow, Russia to attend a regular meeting of the heads of religious confessions.

Mr. Pashazade will discuss with Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexiy II the
issue regarding the opening of the Coordinating Council for Religious Affairs under
the UN.
“Religious figures take an active part in policy of their countries and their voices
have an important significance. There are cases of violence of rights of believers
and religious figures. We wish that the voice of religious figures were heard from
UN rostrum”, said Mr. Pashazadeh at the meeting with journalists in Baku.
