BAKU TO HOST SUMMIT OF HEADS OF RELIGIOUS CONFESSIONS NEXT YEAR
Baku, 10 November,(AzerTAj)Summit of the interreligious dialogues between the heads of religious confession will take place in Baku, in October 2009, Chairman of the Clerical Office of Caucasian Muslims Allahshukur Pashazade said at the press-conference dedicated to the International Day for Tolerance.
“Conducting the summit in Baku is evidence of tolerance in the country and true
policy of President Ilham Aliyev, said Mr. Pashazade.
Pope of Rome Benedict XVI, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexiy II and other
well-known religious heads are expected to attend the event.
