LUTFI ZADE AWARDED HONORARY MEMBER DIPLOMA OF AZERBAIJAN NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES
Baku, 10 November,(AzerTAj)Outstanding Azerbaijani scientist, professor at the University of Berkeley, California, Lutfi Zade has been awarded an honorary member diploma of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, ANAS.
Speaking at an award-giving ceremony at the academy, Lutfi Zade said it is a great
pleasure for him to be in his native land and receive the award.
The professor also spoke of his works, including his fuzzy set theory.
Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov praised
Lutfi Zade`s contributions to the world mathematics and computer sciences.
