Minister of State for Defence Meets US Official

Doha, August 05 (QNA) - HE the Minister of State for Defense Affairs Major General Hamad bin Ali Al-Attiyah met today with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Middle East Policy Dr. Matthew Spence, who is currently visiting Qatar. During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of mutual concern, especially in military affairs. The meeting was attended by Armed Forces Chief of Staff HE Air Vice-Marshal Ghanim bin Shaheen Al Ghanim Charge d'Affaires at the US Embassy in Doha Ian Makari and a number of senior armed forces officers.(QNA)
