Eid Al Fitr Holiday Starts on Aug. 06 and Employees to Resume Work on 18 Aug.

Doha, August 03 (QNA) - The Emiri Diwan announced here on Saturday that on the advent of Eid Al Fitr (Lesser Bairam), the Eid Al Fitr holiday will be as follows: First : the ministries and the other governmental organs and general authorities and institutions: the holiday will start as of next Tuesday 28 Ramadan 1434 AH corresponding to 06 August,2013 and ends on Thursday ,August 15, 2013, and the employees are to resume their work on Sunday, August 18, 2013. Second: Qatar Central Bank (QCB) and the banks and financial corporations working under the control of QCB and Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA): the holiday will be three days and the QCB's governor is to fix the starting date of the holiday.
