Prince Salman laid foundation stone for Disabled Children`s Center

Riyadh, November 10, SPA -- Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of
Riyadh Region laid the foundation stone for the Disabled Children’s
Center in Shifa District.


Upon arrival, he was received by Prince Sultan bin Salman bin
Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Disabled Children
Association (DCA) and its Secretary General Awadh Al-Ghamdi.

Prince Salman, then, unveiled the plaque of the project and laid the
foundation.


Subsequently, Prince Sultan bin Salman announced Prince Salman's
donation of a sum of SR One Million and another SR One million on
behalf of his offspring and grand children for the benefit of the
project.

Speaking on the occasion, Prince Sultan bin Salman said "This
occasion is an inauguration of DCA's new phases including several
strategic axes as international scientific team specializing in the
evaluation of the functioning of the DCA both in terms of treatment
or rehabilitation and educational services.

In addition DCA has signed a cooperation agreement with King Faisal
Specialist Hospital to enhance the perspective of its program on
orthopedics for DCA's beneficiaries in light of the impressive
results achieved in recent years, he added.
