King`s Dates-gift benefit 22,662 Quake-victims

Islamabad, November 10, SPA -- As many as 22, 662 victims of
earthquake that hit recently Pakistan benefited from the gift
extended by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin
Abdulaziz.

The gift assistance, extended during the last blessed month of
Ramadan, included 35 tons of dates.

In line with the directives of Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the
Interior Minister, and Supervisor General of the Saudi Popular
Campaign for the assistance of the victims of the Pakistani
earthquake, 7, 600 baskets of food at a total cost of $350,000 were
also extended to the victims of the earthquake in Kashmir and the
North western borders region.

Each basket contains 30 kilograms of foodstuffs.
