RI TAKING PART IN ESPRESSO EXPO IN ITALY
London, Nov 10 (ANTARA) - Indonesia, one of the world's coffee producing countries, is taking part in the "Treiste-Espresso-Coffee Expo" held in Trieste city, northern Italy.
In the expo, Indonesia is represented by three private companies and regional officials of Bali province.
"The presence of the private companies in the exhibition is facilitated by the directorate general of the agricultural products processing and marketing," Agricultural Attache of the Indonesian Embassy in Rome Erizal Sodikin said on Sunday.
He said that Italy, a country which is creative in coffee drink, had been holding a routine biennial coffee expo event, especially for espresso coffee, in Trieste city. It has served as the headquarters of coffee companies in Italy.
Sodikin said that in the exhibition, held from November 13 to 15, 2008, Indonesian stands occupied a pavilion measuring 32 sq m in the main floor of the building.
